Auto Log Out Security feature

Overview

We have introduced an auto log out feature on our Kazang devices. 

This security feature logs out the Kazang account when the screen sleeps or when the vendor changes screens to Kazang Pay or any other app on the device. 

This feature was needed to protect our vendors from thieves accessing their funds when the device is stolen. We have determined that the thieves would usually steal the device when being handed the device to insert their pin for a Kazang Pay transaction. 

How do vendors deactivate this security feature?

• Sign in to the Kazang Account 
• Click on the 3 line menu in the top left corner 
• Click on device status 
• Scroll all the way down and untick “Auto logout” 

Please note that vendors will deactivate this security feature at their own discretion.
