Dear Client,


Please note that a slight change to Batch Vending has been made starting from 25 February 2021.


The change will allow certain Cash In transactions via NFS to also be done as Batch Vending transactions, but in Zambia only.


This change has necessitated the format of the Batch Vending templates to be amended as follows:

  1. For Zambian customers, many new Cash In products will now be available to select from, and also included in the downloaded CSV template.
  2. A new column called Account Ref is now required in the template, and on-screen batch editing.


The Account Ref  column is only applicable to the new Cash In transaction types, and should be used for the destination account or mobile number the Cash In transaction applies to.

For the other transaction types, this column should be left empty, and will be automatically disabled during on-screen editing.


For customers in countries other than Zambia where the new Cash In type transactions are not available, the new column will still be required on the CSV template, but should always be empty.


If you use the CSV template for Bulk Vending, please be sure to download a new version , before attempting any bulk vending uploads. It is also attached to this notice.


The result of using an old template will be a failure with a message referring to the new Account Ref that is missing from the old templates.
